Five Year Labor Warranty
J & K Roofing, Inc. warrants to the general contractor or homeowner their asphalt/cedar roof/tile will be free from defects in workmanship that may cause leakage or the loss of shingles. J & K Roofing, Inc. will repair such problems, by supplying labor for a period specified on your contract. The warranty items are to be repaired only by J & K Roofing, Inc. and the customer must notify J & K Roofing, Inc. within three days after the problem has been discovered. The warranty is non-transferable and J & K Roofing, Inc. will not be liable for the roof or structural damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: ice damage, wind damage, acts of God, hailstorms or foreign objects. In addition, any fungus and/or mold, infestation, UV degradation, rust, or corrosion resulting in metal or wood decay will not be covered.
This warranty is in lieu of all other expressed and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and is limited to the duration of the previously agreed time stated in the contract. J & K Roofing, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages of any form. This includes damage to the interior or exterior of any building or replacement not authorized in writing or performed by J & K Roofing, Inc.
To obtain services, the general contractor/homeowner must have their contract amount completely paid in full. When your roof is complete and paid in full you will receive a warranty certificate. Present this certificate anytime during the warranty period and a representative will respond within seven working days, weather permitting.
J & K Roofing, Inc. is also a "Master Elite Contractor" which means that we have been factory certified by GAF-Elk Corporation. Because of the the Elite status we are able to offer an extended labor warranty from GAF-Elk which is the "Golden Pledge Ltd. Warranty". This is a manufacturer's warranty that covers both labor and material defects and GAF-Elk will stand behind the labor and materials on your new roof for 20 years! This warranty also includes a free inspection from GAF-Elk! Ask your J & K Representative to go over the GAF-Elk warranty options when they provide you with your free, no obligation estimate.
